Why I Prefer Instagram Over Facebook

I used to spend most of my free time using Facebook when it was time for a little social media fun. I enjoyed what I did on the site, don’t get me wrong.  But, it was time for something new and I could feel it in my heart. By chance, a friend come to hang out and used her Instagram account. I knew that was where I wanted to be and immediately created my own IG account. Now, I can say this site is far more exciting than Facebook but that is only one of the many reasons why it is better, at least in my opinion.

Insta likes are so much easier to get than on Facebook. I tied to be as social as possible on the ‘book’, but it seems that it was just never good enough. No matter what I uploaded, it got few, if any likes. To be honest, it was a little bit on the embarrassing side. All of that hanged when I started using Instagram, however, and I again felt amazing and like people really were my friends. Insta likes on all my photos encourages me to post even more. Some people even buy likes, which is a pretty clever tactic, if you ask my thoughts.

I like the overall layout of IG better than Facebook and feel that it has a better, more user-friendly interface. I oftentimes find my page lagging on FB, but never experience these concerns on other sites. I came to have fun and certainly don’t want to waste my time trying to get their site to work. So, I guess you can say that there is more time to enjoy the fun when using Instagram. Plus, where do you think all of those face filters that have taken the world by storm started? Using Insta makes it easy for me to use those filters and have more fun in my life. I can dig it.

Instagram is a picture-only platform, but it is uber cool and always lots of fun. You can easily make new friends and get followers, promote your company, and more on the site. The versatility is something that every user can appreciate. Plus, it is a really popular site that has more than 400 million users from around the world. No one wants to be around people only in the local area. Thankfully, social media makes communicating with others no matter where the location is in this world so much easier.

Facebook gets my attention now and again. I always like to switch things up to keep them interesting and of course, there are features there that IG lacks. However, if you want to find me, the best place to look first is Instagram because it is by far my fave. I love everything about the platform and hope to see you there very soon. I think that you will enjoy using the social media site just as much.
